Social Service Specialist

For over 25 years, Penn-Mar Organization, Inc. has provided support services in our communities, which promote value, independence and self-determination, to families and individuals with disabilities or human service needs.

We are currently seeking a part-time Social Service Specialist to provide social services for elderly residents at two properties in the Mechanicsburg Area. The starting rate is $11/hr depending on education and experience. 20 hours per week; daytime hours.

Must be an organized self starter with knowledge of elderly social services and ability to work under minimal supervision. Ideal candidate will have a degree in social work or human services.

Successful completion of physical, drug screen, Mantoux test for tuberculous.
Must pass background and reference checks.
